Story behind the song
i was reading and found a string of words nice: dense, chance, breath. so i made a song. things i shuold note: the lines decrease like a burning fuse the knocks increase questions you should ask yourself: nothing. this is pretty self-explanatory. it's about a person who was just, more or less, dumped and the reactions from both sides. the broken heart becomes cold and the wandering heart grasps for stability, but to no avail.
Lyrics
Lying in the waiting quarters Where I’ve been many hours You said you’d fill the order I’m passed by different auras And now you have the nerve to tell me Don’t you come a knockin’ Don’t you come and knock Don’t you come a knockin’ Don’t you come a knockin’ Knockin’ on my door. When did you learn to change? You say I say no sense I give you several arguments Which you throw away to say * Why you looking so dense Searching for another chance Let me tell you in a simple breath * Where the hell did love go? Your recanting means nothing, don’t you know? Don’t you come a knockin’ Don’t you come and knock (x3) Don’t you come a knockin’ Don’t you come a knockin’ Knockin’ on my door. Why you reaching when you told me not to grab? Don’t you come a knockin’ Don’t you come and knock (x5) Don’t you come a knockin’ Don’t you come a knockin’ Knockin’ on my door.
