Story behind the song

This song was inspired by the Word of God taken from Revelation 3:14-22. I wrote this song while I was in Florida in November of 2004. I was visiting some relatives who didn’t know Jesus very well and during that period of time, it broke my heart to see that people can have all they ever want and need in life but yet not be happy and fulfilled. Their lives seemed to be busy with the process of getting but never being satisfied. 
	This song comes both as a warning and a plea to those who have heard of Jesus but have not received Him in their hearts. How will a man benefit if he gains the whole world but loses his soul? Jesus is the answer for mankind!
