Real Name - Dave Evans. Primarily a songwriter, I played guitar and sang in original local bands with names like Destiny, Streetwise, Windstorm. Of these, Windstorm had the most potential. Before imploding, we opened shows for a few 70s and 80s luminaries.

Lyrics
I've never been this embarrassed I've never felt so ashamed I thought that I couldn't care less Here I am spreadin' the blame That's what I get for actin' clever That's what I get for tryin' to win I couldn't blame you if you never Trusted me again I'm not tryin' to be amusing I'm not tryin' to be a clown This place is just too damn confusing Staying here just brings me down That's what I get for actin' clever That's what I get for tryin' to win I couldn't blame you if you never Trusted me again I really wasn't being petty I didn't mean to stir things up I guess I said too much already I've got to keep my big mouth shut That's what I get for actin' clever That's what I get for tryin' to win I couldn't blame you if you never Trusted me again

Nice groove on this one. Bass and drums work well together. Great guitar tone, keyboards and dynamic exploration. All done on VST?

Warm with a classic feel, memorable, familiar, yet rocks away nicely. Great rhythm section and your distictive guitar work shines right through. Nice vocal work too. Can relate to these lyrics as well, excellent tune!

Really great song Dave - everything's just right - superb vocals and lyrics, great guitars and exciting feel. I agree with Rodrica, the bass-line really drives this and the drums are awsome - is that really VST? On my station Steve

Fantastic sound on the drums and bass - they really drive the track. Excellent songwriting - a very radio-friendly sound. Top notch production and arrangement with beautifully performed vocals/harmonies, very nice keys and great guitar solo.
