Brian became part of the Vancouver Island music scene soon after moving to Nanaimo in 1991. He spent a few years doing pub & party cover gigs until he discovered the Nanaimo Songwriters Circle in 1998. From that point on he has been pursuing the craft of songwriting and collaboration. Brian has produced two studio albums of his original songs, 2004‘s “One In A Million” with Jerry Paquette at Raincoast Studio and in 2012 “Back to the muse” with award winning producer Andrew Oye which brought a nomination for Male Vocal of the year at the Vancouver Island Music Awards. His original songs have been included in independent films, an international CD compilation and have won internet song contests.

Story behind the song
I was checkin out a buddies rock band at a local watering hole, it got my creative juices going.... original working title was "Back To The Muse" the lyrics changed over time and so did the title but I kept it for the album title.
