Story behind the song
I think I wrote this in September of 2005. I really can't tell, it's just on it's own page in the middle of a bunch of entries in my journal...
Well, to try to remember what was going through my head at the time, "I feel like something is holding me down. I can't sing, I can't do anything right. Something is holding me down, I've lost everything even though I won so much. I've lost [name], alot of friends, my talent, and I'll never be like Amy Lee. I've lost that too..." as well as, "I must contain my thoughts and bite my tongue, hide my ambitions and all my wants." Both of those quotes are from two different journal entries. Maybe you can figure out what was going on....
Oh yeah, and if you don't know who Amy Lee is she's the lead singer from the band Evanescence.
