Trying to categorize PEP’s music is not an easy task. Her hybrid sound includes a rock, folk, and pop appeal that attributes to the eclectic following that she has accrued throughout her career.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, the 26 year old began songwriting at the age of 8. She was impacted by the many bands her parents listened to such as The Beatles, The Carpenters & Queen. At 17, she picked up the guitar and acquired a taste for the rock and alternative genres.
PEP plays on a regular basis in the Los Angeles area at clubs such as The Knitting Factory, Highland Grounds, the Rainbow Room, the Crooked Bar and many more.
Currently PEP is working on new material and will be in the studio January 2003 to record 5 more original songs with producer Barry Goldberg.
