Story behind the song
A dear frined, Emery Sears, co-wrote this with me in 1991. He came up with the basic chords and I sequenced it and did all the guitars. He came in and sang it. This version is based on that. I sing it (sorry) and did all the instruments (in Cubase SX 2). (My Lyrics based on lyrics of an annonomous writer who submitted the words to me...who ever you are...thank you!)
Lyrics
I Look Around the Room And Wonder why I'm Here It's a Place that I call Home But none of it feels near You see the Street of Evening And Wonder where it's bound Inside you try believing that this is your home town You watch the stars appearing and one by one they bloom I look around the room And wonder why I'm here Inside I try beleiving that my home town in near But it's my restless soul that never find the way
