Story behind the song
Gary and I were friends and band mates. Suzie was kind of our groupie. She wrote the words and Gary and I came up music. Right away, we knew we had to record it, so we did. With a rhythm section and horn section. Then pressed them and sold them at school. This is the updated version from 1980 Recorded at Benson Sound in OKC. Master tape was lost, but it survived on one cassette. In 2010 Nat brought the cassette to Arizona and we dumped it into CuBase. The flip side was a duet, but that part of the tape was damaged. I am hoping to restore it soon. Once I get that done, all I have to do is remember the girls name that sang it with me. :)
