Story behind the song
Inspired by the memories of a lost soulmate of mine and recently last fall the lost of my mother. It was played at her funeral so this song means a lot to me.

This is beautiful, Leif--and it hits home on this Mother's Day. I've spent the past few days working on another piece for my mother. Just lovely and evocative. MH (Sorry about the "Lyrics" eval..." But I stand by the rest!
