Welcome to my band page. Mongo and the Pawns Of Life is just little 'ol me. I've just been playing on and off for a few years, but steady since September of 2007. I hardly take this seriously. It's a hobbie and is just for fun.

Story behind the song

This started off as an experiment and became my Pro Tools learning project. The track's were as is sometime last week aside from some teeth cutting, doing some simple edits, like a miss hit or a clunky string strike, as well as fixing a poor input signal that had to be boosted while maintaining the sound I wanted. It came out well and I've probably got a bit more room if needed. I'm coming up with some percussion ideas, for example. 
I repeat from above. All stock factory presets in Eleven Rack. No editing beyond basic cleaning up and volume/panning efforts. No post tracking effects, no keyboards, no nuttin'.
