Story behind the song
"Cosmic String Thing",after the theory's introduction in 1976." First and foremost ,the perfect vacuum, is a volume of space that is essentially empty of matter. In practice, achieving absolute nothingness is impossible, with virtual particles that are constantly appearing and disappearing . According to the "Cosmic String Theory", for the first 10 - 43 seconds of the universe's life, all the forces of nature existed as one super-force. The universe was all energy, no matter. Physicists also call this symmetry. In the next tiny ticks of time individual forces appeared -- first gravity, then the strong nuclear force -- ending the symmetry state. Within minutes elementary particles and atomic nuclei had formed. But it took another 700,000 years for the first atoms to form. Early theories proposed that matter began to lump together as the universe cooled, ultimately forming stars and galaxies. Another segment of Cosmic string theory is a hypothetical 1-dimensional (spatially) topological defect in the fabric of space-time left over from the formation of the universe. Interaction with the topological defect ,could create fields of closed time-like curves permitting backwards time travel. Some scientists have suggested using "cosmic strings" to construct a time machine. By maneuvering two cosmic strings close together or possibly just one string plus a black hole it is theoretically possible to create a whole array of "closed time-like curves." Ideally, to fire two infinitely long cosmic strings past each other at very high speeds, then fly your craft around them in a carefully calculated figure eight. In theory, you would be able to emerge anywhere, anytime!
